Career Path and Professional Development

Lawyers join our team at various levels from junior to senior positions depending on the current need of the firm. New graduates join us as pupils and serve pupillage for a term of 6 months. Pupils are then assessed on various factors such as their legal skills, their ability and enthusiasm to learn and their ability to work as a team player. Suitable pupils join us as Legal Associates. They would then go through the path of Senior Associates and subsequently be considered for partnership.

Lawyers are encouraged to develop their legal skills in order to enhance the quality of service to the clients as well as for their own professional development. Lawyers also participate in seminars and conferences in areas relevant to their practice. We have sponsored lawyers to seminars overseas and for attachments for short periods in overseas law firms.
